Tillett

Aaron Tillett joined Marsh LLP as an Associate Attorney in November 2024. He was called to the Bar of Belize in 2019 and has accumulated a wealth of experience in both commercial and litigious matters. His areas of expertise include contract drafting, Commercial Law, Criminal and Civil Litigation, Banking, Administration Law, Family Law, and Real Estate.

Aaron A. Tillett

  • Between 2019 and 2021 Mr. Tillett served as an in-house Counsel for Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited and its subsidiary, The Belize Bank Limited. During this period, he became versed in corporate management, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, mortgage financing, debt recovery and other corporate and commercial matters.

    In 2021 Aaron joined the Law Firm of Musa & Balderamos LLP where he worked until 2024 as an avid litigator in both the criminal and civil fields, having litigated at all levels of the domestic judiciary. During this time, he obtained experience in Administration Law (Estates), Family Law, Criminal Law, Civil Practice and Procedure, and Real Estate law.

    Mr. Tillett has served as a member of other authorities or bodies, including as Legal Secretary for Great Belize Productions Limited and the Belize Healthcare Partners Limited.

    Mr. Tillett was born in Belize and attended secondary school at Saint John’s College, following which he attended the St. John’s College Junior College where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in Literature and History, and was awarded Student of the Year for the Social Sciences Program.
